On Nature

I draw my identity from Nature.
I draw my energy from Nature.
I draw my patience from Nature.
I draw my self-control.
My 'No... I'm not going to hit you with a chair, no matter how
much I want to' from Nature.
I draw my identity from Nature.
But I have to give back.
But I wind giving back hate. Anger. Stress. All the bad. Hate.
And I hate that, but it's all I have left.
I- WE can't keep doing this to Nature.
We can't keep doing this to us.
Us, humans, and Nature.
We are poisoning Nature, and we are poisoning ourselves.
Wait.
That's not quite right.
We are poisoning Us.
We are Nature.
Nature is Us.
We are together, and yet we as humans separate ourselves.
From each other. From Nature. From ourselves.
I draw my identity from Nature, like humans draw a circle,
a bubble, a shield around themselves.
I draw my identity from Nature, and I am making it MY
nature to give back the good.
The Love. The Happiness. The Calm. The mixed emotions,
     but mostly good.
I draw my identity from Nature, and I hope that Nature can
     draw back.
